Your Inner Dog - Bloodhound People

Well, my mom finally got around to reading more of the book, “Your Inner Dog”.

As she considered the information presented about bloodhound people, she started to wonder about some of the traits. In many cases, the personality traits and behavior could be the RESULT of living with a bloodhound. In other words, what came first, the chicken or the egg? (If I may be allowed to mix the species of my metaphors.)

So, without further ado, here’s the main gist of the info about bloodhound people…with my added thoughts, of course!

Personality and Character:

Bloodhound people tend to be self-reliant and confident. You’d be a good candidate for Survivor, in fact. (Well, yes, adventures will abound when a human ventures forth in the world with a hound!)

You tend to be quiet and somewhat shy, you don’t like large gatherings and noisy parties. (a hound needs your attention, so why would you be spending time at parties when you should be spending time with the hound?)

Your Space:

You don’t really care how your home is decorated; you are way more of an outdoorsy kind of person. (yet again, pretty obvious. If you have a hound, home décor is going to be a bit of a challenge – has anyone come up with the paint color that matches drool? And the care of the hound will require that you spend time outdoors, without question.)

Leisure Time and Entertainment:

You like hiking and jogging and have participated in a marathon or two. (Do I really need to add anything here? This sounds like an average walk with the hound to me!)

Fashion Musts:

For everyday, you like to dress casually, you feel best in a simple cotton t-shirt. (well, that’s pretty self evident. Fancy clothes and a hound don’t really mix well. I do think they could have given a nod to the brands of LL Bean, Cabelas, and Lands’ End.)

Lucky Number:

Numerological calculations for your breed reveal your lucky number to be 2. (I think this means that everyone should have 2 hounds.)

My Mom says she'll pay a lot of money to whoever finds a paint color that matches drool! Great post... although Bernie and I like parties just fine--more people to pet us and more potential food to swipe...

This is funny! Maria doesn't like big gatherings, she always talks about ME only. She also hates the outdoors; I mean seriously hates it. The only reason she spends outdoors is because of me - well, that and she likes to eat so our walks burn calories. Certainly the decorating and dressing are correct, messy house, jeans and tees. And I agree, there should be another hound in this house!

Lucky number? 2 stands for the number of humans we need for adoration??
Hmmm. Pretty good match for us!
