We got a bit too far away to see it well, but there are some folks enjoying a softball game behind me.

The leaves are starting to come out on the trees and shrubs. Excellent sniffing conditions.

I'm not quite sure what the point of this pose is, but the humans seemed rather amused. Something about slow hounds...hmm, not sure how to take that!

Dandelions are starting to come out as well.

And the new green grass is just meant to be rolled in. It's quite luscious to nibble on as well, but for some reason, the humans don't like me to do that!

No activity yet in the field across the street. Probably sometime in the next few weeks!

Love the spring photos! Edie had a good laugh about the "slow" one. I don't get it. She also noticed you were wearing your Gentle Leader, and unfortunately remembered that I ate mine this winter, so she has to find a new one. Darn!
Our spring has been surprisingly quick this year. The snow is almost gone in the yard, which is VERY early. We had very little snow, and with the quick melt, we are already entering a dangerous fire season. There was one wildfire last week that was put out quickly, thank goodness. The humidity level is only about 25% in the afternoon. But, we could get another big dump of snow, as it is only April! We will try to NOT send it your way!! :-)
